Christensen will present his practical philosophy that has helped him develop his painting skills to his masterful level.
The goal of the (10) Day Intensive is to create an accelerated, highly structured learning environment that will help you achieve breakthroughs that have the potential to change the quality of your work.
Christensen has introduced a new approach to teaching painting -- The Three P's. Prepare at the highest level. Practice at the highest level. Paint at the highest level. It is designed for the painter who has made a serious commitment to artistic growth and is willing to engage in an intensive study of the fundamentals of outdoor painting. This workshop is structured to cover a lot of territory in a concentrated period of time.
This workshop will include:
*Classroom lectures & written instructional materials.
*Two large demonstrations by Scott Christensen.
*Painting sessions.
*Field study and painting on property and throughout the Teton Valley.
*Study of deceased master works.
*Q & A sessions.
*Critiques.
*An intimate dinner wtih (10) fellow artists at Scott & Kristie's home.
*Daily coffee service.
*Welcome reception the evening before the workshop officially begins.
Tuition: $1,800
Deposit: $900 required at time of registration. Inquire about payment plans when registering.
