Edward Eyth provides artists with insights attained throughout his extensive career as artist, designer, college instructor and over 5 years as director of the Richard MacDonald Masters Workshops. Discussions and comprehensive demonstrations provide participants with methods for genuine artistic advancement. Working from a live model each day, students will work on multiple poses. The objective of the workshop is not to complete one definitive, resolved piece, but rather to understand and assimilate the habits and methods that facilitate a solid, consistent artistic process. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate to professional sculptors wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required for more sophisticated, successful results. Portfolio submission is required to qualify. Students are encouraged to develop proficiency in figurative drawing in addition to their sculpture experience. |
